Slide Rule Watch Guide is an offline, educational Android app that demonstrates how a circular logarithmic slide-rule bezel — the kind found on classic pilot chronograph watches — performs everyday calculations. The app is a self-contained visual reference: it has no network code, no analytics, no third-party SDKs, and no account system.
None. The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, device identifiers, usage data, or analytics. Everything the app shows is computed locally on your device from the values you type into the on-screen inputs or from your device's clock.
None. Because we don't collect any data, we have nothing to share with anyone — including advertisers, analytics providers, or partner apps.
The app requests no runtime permissions. It only uses the standard Android display, touch input, and clock APIs that every app has access to by default.
The app is suitable for general audiences. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
The app does not include a crash-reporting SDK. If you opt into Android's system-level error reporting, Google Play may send anonymous crash logs to the app's developer; the contents of those logs are governed by Google's privacy terms, not this policy.
If this policy changes in the future, the updated version will be published here and the effective date above will be revised.
